Our very own private restaurant ‘CYCAD’ caters exclusively to Daintree Wilderness Lodge guests. This ensures that our locally sourced and carefully prepared produce is presented in an intimate and personal setting surrounded by the beautiful rainforest in our unique open air venue.
Start your day with our all inclusive breakfast which includes seasonal tropical fruits, locally grown tea and coffee, Mungalli bio-organic dairy produce and free range eggs. We have a hot option that changes daily.
Tropical North Queensland is blessed with ideal conditions for harvesting succulent seafood and for growing an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables. In line with our advanced Eco-Accreditation, much of our produce is organically grown and locally sourced, we create all of our dishes from the ‘ground up’ free from preservatives and majority gluten free.
Evening meals are home cooked with care and incorporate the best local produce including Wild Barramundi and King Tiger Prawns from the Gulf of Carpentaria and Atherton Tablelands Prime Beef.
The restaurant is open from 6pm – 9pm with bar snacks available from the afternoon.
Please note that our restaurant does occasionally close (especially during low season between November and June) and is open only by prior bookings.
