Follow the main road out of Cairns, heading North. Travel for about 1hr and reach Mossman, which is a small town. You will see a sign about 30 minutes out of Mossman indicating the FERRY CROSSING and directing you to Cape Tribulation.

Take this turn-off to your right. Travel over the river by ferry/barge (open from 6am until midnight). From July 1 2023 this is charged at $47 return - cash or card and subject to change.

Once you have crossed the Daintree river by ferry/barge, you will travel over the Alexandra Range for about 14km to get to us. You will go through Cow Bay, cross over Hutchinson Creek and see a school on your right-hand side (Alexandra Bay Primary).

Once you have seen the school, it is only about 1km on your right side. You will see a large patch of lawn and our signs out the front. There is limited mobile reception for most mobile carriers north of the river (Telstra Next G has some very limited mobile coverage), so if you are lost, stop and ask someone. Everyone knows where we are.
