Our Beginnings
Minimal Impact, Maximum Beauty in the Daintree
Our hideaway in the rainforest, only accessible to our privileged guests, began with Anna Graham and her late husband Mal. With a passion for preserving the beauty of the Daintree Rainforest and a yearning to share it with the world Anna stated, “We simply did what felt right in our hearts. Such a low-impact project had not been attempted within the entire World Heritage Listed area before”
Carrying the Torch of Eco-Conscious Luxury

The journey of the Lodge now continues with Giorgio, Vivienne and their family. As owners who have travelled the world, they fell in love with the uniqueness and environmental significance of this UNESCO World Heritage List region. Through modern and elegant design, they hope to further accentuate the natural aspect of the tropical rainforest and allow our guests to discover the magic of the Daintree Rainforest.
Their vision is for our guests to have a deep connection with this remote land, wildlife and culture. To be touched and advocate for this relic of the great Gondwanan forest.
